From December 27 to 30, 2021, take part in the event of the year in Toubacouta: Cultural Carnival, My beautiful village! The four-day program will introduce you to exceptional guest artists, a brilliant cultural exchange and local products to make you dream!
This event is accompanied by a fair of local products taking place over a week, starting two days before the carnival and continuing two days after it. You will be able to taste the products of many artisans and discover the culinary culture of Senegal!
In addition, during the event, you can admire performances of music, dance, theater, storytelling readings and even fashion shows. You can even attend a traditional wrestling demonstration and several typical cultural ceremonies!
Among the guests, we find both renowned artists from all over the world and street artists, representing the local community. They will make you dance, sing and laugh with their incredible talents!
The event will be held in the town of Toubacouta and is presented by Delta Culture Prod, the Toubacouta Nature Club and the Toubacouta Interpretation Center. This is the first edition, but let's hope it will not be the last! Are you ready to join the fun?
